Josie & Sam’s wedding was full of colour from start to finish, beginning with a church ceremony in Hertford before heading over to The Barns at Lodge Farm for their reception. It was one of those summer days where everything just worked — relaxed, joyful, and full of lovely little moments.
The barns looked amazing dressed in bright, colourful details, and the atmosphere stayed light-hearted all day. As the evening approached, the timing couldn’t have been better — golden hour arrived just as things slowed down slightly, giving us the perfect opportunity to sneak away for some couple portraits in that soft evening light.
Later on, guests were treated to ice cream (always a winner), followed by ceilidh dancing that filled the barn with energy and laughter. It was one of those weddings where you could feel how much everyone was enjoying themselves, easy-going, warm, and full of genuine smiles.
